Holby bears close resemblance to Bristol, and in effect would replace Bristol on the UK map. Holby is set in the fictional county of Wyvern, in the south-west of England, not far from the Welsh border. Its sister show Casualty is actually filmed in Bristol, whilst Holby City is filmed in London.
