Gilmore Girls (2000)

My all-time favorite TV series. This series was my yard stick for life. My dad and I are very close and we watched this show every week together. I was sad to see it end, but the ending couldn't have been better. Luke and Lorelai finally got it together and Rory has the world at her feet. I loved her and Logan, but it should have been Jess. He was the only one that really understood her.

After seven seasons, it is sad to see the show end with some things uncertain, although the writers did a decent job of giving us a peek at the possible futures of some of the characters. However, I would have loved one more season to cement the relationships, or give more of a satisfactory ending to a show that has really grown over the years. Yes, season seven wasn't as strong...and I sure wasn't happy about the storyline including Christopher. I love Luke and Lorelai together, and would have loved to see what would happen...instead of being given the kind of ending to the series that we were given. I miss the old writers. The self-righteous arrogance. The absurd proclamations of the many characters. Now it's become nothing more than a parody. hmm
