“It did hook me in and especially the second season got very interesting. I liked the story, the unexpected turns, the mixing of different genres, and the characters, especially Topher, Boyd, Adelle DeWitt, Dr. Saunders, Bennett... A few things I liked less, though: the second season finale seemed a bit rushed, it looks like they had to end the story too quickly as the show had been canceled by the network. Also, in my view, Eliza Dushku's acting performance was not as good as others'. While I liked Eliza Dushku in other Whedon's works, I think she was not adequate to the complex role of Echo.

Anyway, while it has its flaws, to me Dollhouse is a must-see show, quite different from your ordinary TV series.” read more
