With the systematic collapse of the old nation-states, a mixed jumble of races and peoples were driven out of their terrestrial Eden and spread to the stars, taking with them the now confused concepts of justice, freedom, violence, and love. New rules were established, and a new generation of bounty hunters came into being. People referred to these bounty hunters as “cowboys.”
Meet Spike and Jet, a drifter and a retired cyborg cop who have started a bounty hunting partnership. In the converted ship The Bebop, Spike and Jet search the galaxy for criminals with bounties on their heads. They meet a lot of interesting characters, including the unusually intelligent dog Ein, the bizarre hacker child prodigy Ed, and the voluptuous and vexing femme fatale, Faye Valentine.
"Also awesome, but perhaps a little worse than Samurai Champloo in my opinion. I know Cowboy Bebop's the more famous one, and is really great, but in the end I just don't like it as much as Samurai Champloo.
While Cowboy Bebop may not define the cyberpunk genre, I think it did a really nice/different job with it."

"26 Episodes, Finished April 26th, 2013

"Classy, stylish and cool. These are the three best words for describing Cowboy Bebop.
The plot isn't the deepest, most unique or thrilling, and is definitely not the reason you keep coming back for the next episode, but rather, as mentioned, the unique style and class of the show.
The characters are awesome. Radical Ed, Faye Valentine, Jet Black and Spike Spiegel are the four main characters.
Radical Ed is a genius child, with computer skill like no other. With the goofy personality

The best space western. Cowboy Bebop is even better than Firefly. If you enjoyed Firefly and want an equally fun show with a little more depth, you should see Cowboy Bebop."

This is one of those few series that I think competes with the very best of any series, animated or live action, stylized, entertaining, and just plain "cool."
