1 vote I have not been this impressed with a North American cartoon since the days of Pinky and the Brain. We have far been behind the style, technique and stories of Japanese anime, but Avatar shows that we are definitely catching up. The story is engaging and funny, and the characters are real and three-dimensional. Definitely an enjoyable series.
