I was in a bad mood (an angry, agressive, hating the world kind of mood) the other night so I needed some good anime to distract me from real life. I definitely picked the right one to watch.
Probably one of the best, if not the best, anime series I've seen. I put it on my movie list because it was only 5 episodes- just over 2 hours and just about movie length.

"Its a solid action anime filled with bloody sword fighting scenes. The voice acting is in English and the main character is played by Samuel L Jackson. (Btw i´m not a fan of dub versions)"
"A short series, followed up with a movie. This series is...odd? Its not what you might expect from something with Samuel L Jackson as the leads voice. From the follower of Afro, to the one with the object of his whole journey Afro is always true to what he wants. The art might be different for some, but if you go along with it, you just might find a show you want to watch. "Afro Samurai excels in its art work: fantastic animation, music and voice acting. This is the kind of production values I want in my anime. The story is pretty generic, but you watch this for the raw entertainment value! This anime gives a Bloodlust and Ninja Scroll vibe."
