I would say a tie between The Decalogue, The Wire, and Breaking Bad.

for me there two are equals , Doctor who and Downton Abbey .

Twin Peaks, Star Trek, Star Trek Deep Space Nine, Scooby Doo Where Are You?

Those are the only 4 that I love no matter what my mood or age. There are no other shows that surpass the awesomeness of those 4.

Oh, I forgot to add Kolchak: The Night Stalker. That's my top five, I couldn't order them (though I guess since I forgot Kolchak at first it's probably not my ultimate favorite).
