what type of book would you like to read. romance, sci-fi,or maybe horror. what kind of book would you like to read. what would happen in it?

I like fiction written by authors that paint very vivid images with their words. I hear that high pitched voice in John Irving's "A Prayer for Owen Meany" and feel the torment of the Salvation Army missionary in Jan de Hartog's "Spiral Road". Douglas Adams makes me laugh with the insane situations his hitchhikers are forced to face in his stories.

I prefer educational or training type of books the best but would pass on the romance ones for sure, too manly for that. :-)

What would happen in my book? If it's about online marketing, running web sites and selling or similar then the final chapter would close with me in a mansion, a few "sporty" auto's like a Mercedes, Porsche and Hummer (jet black, what else), babes on each arm and of course more beer then ya can shake a stickster at! OK, for now I'm OK with the apartment, my Pinto and anyone that'll buy me a beerski.

I like the utopia fantasy style books. I like fantasy books, but I'm not into wars or dragon slaying so much. I read to get away from conflict and sadness, not dive right into it.
