For some reason, some movies never made it past the Betamax/VHS era. And some movies that did were transferred poorly. There probably aren't a lot of these out there, but maybe there's a movie you wish had a definitive, remastered DVD or Blu-Ray edition.

Which movies do you think deserve the extra attention? I'll start with some from my own wishlist:

1 Blood and Roses - a VHS only vampire movie. DVD please.

2 a Charlie Chaplin complete works anthology on blu-ray...if not Blu-ray then at least a better DVD remastering.

3 A complete Blu-Ray of everything Lotte Reiniger

Everything Ultraman needs to be released in on RA Blu-ray or R1 DVD, movies included. Also, the Heisei Gamera and Daimajin trilogies (were released but are unavailable now), Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters, Godzilla vs Megalon, and Godzilla Returns.

Yeah... I'm a bit of a giant monster nut.

Ooo here's my list. I have all these except Treasure Island on VHS, but wish that someone would get with the program and put em on DVD already.

1. The Legend Of Billie Jean (1985)
Average Texas teen, Billie Jean Davy, is caught up in an odd fight for justice. She is usually followed and harrased around by local boys, who, one day, decide to trash her brother's scooter for fun. The boys' father refuses to pay them back the price of the scooter. The fight for "fair is fair" takes the teens around the state and produces an unlikely hero.

2. Stranded (1987)
When a band of aliens crashes to Earth, a girl and her grandmother find they are in more danger from the local police trying to protect them than they are from the not-so-unhuman creatures who are only trying to flee their enemy.

3. Kid (1990)
A young man (the 'Kid') returns to the small town where his parents were murdered when he was a boy. He's there for revenge. Locals Kate and Louie befriend him much to the annoyance of some of the town folk.

4. The Rescue (1988)
A group of teenagers attempt to rescue their Navy fathers held captive in a Communist military prison.

5. Jack's Back (1988)
A young doctor is suspected when a series of Jack the Ripper copycat killings is committed. However, when the doctor himself is murdered, his identical twin brother claims to have seen visions of the true killer.

6. Treasure Island (1990)
The version with Christian Bale.

7. I Come In Peace (1990)
Jack Caine (Dolph Lundgren) is a Houston vice cop who's forgotten the rule book. His self-appointed mission is to stop the drugs trade and the number one supplier Victor Manning. Caine is used to fighting the toughest of criminals, but up to now they've all been human...
