imdb import not working for me

hi,

i just tried to import the list of my movies from imdb but the only thing i got is a screen saying "Added : Not added :" and doing nothing.

How does one import their my movies list form IMDB? I've searched but can't seem to find the answer.

Click on the homepage and then click Import under 'my account', scroll down to the IMDB my movies section. Then you just need to enter a public imdb list.

Ok, I just found this homepage and I'm thrilled about it. So I started to import all my IMDB votes. But it only added the movies without the votes. My list is public, so I wonder if I did anything wrong???!! Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi I seem to have the same problem. All I get is a screen not found and nothing is added when I try to add lists. I want to add these lists.

It worked when I tried it, what happens when you put in the url?

I just imported my custom 'Not Interested' list from IMDb (http://www.imdb.com/mymovies/list?l=44036022), which is separate from my Vote History and all the movies were not only added to my Watched list but the IMDb User Ratings (rather than my rating, which none have) were recorded as my ratings on listal. There was no warning about the possibility of this happening, so I assume its an error. Also, can it be undone? There were 988 erroneous ratings imported.

I can remove the items added or I can set the listtype to something else and/or remove the rating for those items. Let me know.

The imdb importer says in bold that items are added to the watched list. Sorry about the ratings as that was a bug in the importer, I fixed that now.

Right, I see the way I worded it I wasn't clear that I was expecting them to be added to the watched list; that's what I was I after, I just need the ratings removed. Thanks for the fix.

I'm also unable to import my imdb ratings. Should I remove every film I have rated on Listal?

so what's the deal with that new imdb list format? can it still be imported? i don't wanna try it out and accidentally screw up my already existing list.

I've now fixed the importer, but in the new imdb system I can't work out why some lists have a persons ratings and other do not but the "Your ratings" list should work.
