How do you merge authors?

I've so far found three John (Lofty) Wiseman entries. Can these, and any others that there may be, be merged?

I can't at the moment but you can edit the author for all the books.

Manually updating them would work sometimes (if there're not dozens of books for each dup)... but we'll lose data about favorites, pictures, revies and tags.

I think the merge feature is a must-have (at least for admins)

Have combined all three into one listing for now under John Wiseman. Lofty was just his nickname in the SAS and is not used on his latest releases.

Although di-caprio has no related "items", there are some favs, photos, lists and ratings that would be awesome to merge with dicaprio. In the meantime, is there anyway Tom can do this on the backend?
