@ Kris - I think time has proven that District 9 was far far better than the great looking but ultimately below average Star Trek re-boot

I despise it, one for it's "message" is cliched to the point of actually insultingmy intelligence, and two because, from a filmatic standpoit, it's absolutely wrecthed (the directing is literally the shittiest use of color and the film has the atmosphere of a construction site), so I guess I'm a failure :(

Just my opinion, don't put much weight in it

I think its one of the best movies made - Top 10 material as it combines a lot of genres, a fairly unique view of an alien invasion and MAINLY pulls it off - sci-fi,satire,comedy,romance, horror - the last 3rd isnt that good but the rest is cool
