Country music, takes talent or not?

Does anyone else feel like they could make a country with no problem?

I could make a country with no problem. All I'd need is a large piece of land with clearly defined borders, a flag, an ideology, inhabitants, exportable goods and services for trade, and some strong allies.

Easier said than done. What would you name your new country? would it be a democracy or a dictatorship?

I disagree with you guys. I think making a new country would be a very big problem. For one thing theres the real estate market today.

Sounds pretty hard actually, I heard Swaziland has had a world of trouble being recognized as a country by... well, the world. And as it turns out, if you have problems like HIV epidemics, you could get your country rights revoked.

It takes talent to make real country music. It takes luck or knowing the right person to make it big in the industry today however.

To make any kind of music well takes talent. Just because I don't like a certain type of music, I can still appreciate the talent if it is done well.
Unfortunately, there are talentless people in all genres.

It depends what you are calling "country music".
Most country music on the radio today is not real country music, it's pop music.
When I think of country I normally get Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Carl Perkins in my mind. I'm not very familiar with all country but it's hard to say they can't tell you stories and give you awesome songs, you just have to look hard enough.
