Game reviews by Everyone360 is great but has big issuesXBOX 360 is an OK console it's not the best by far due to having so many problems the Red Ring of Death is the most common then the disc tray. Microsoft should have made this system long lasting and they never I think it's for people to waste there money on another one. Even the elite XBOX gets the same problems and all that money you spend on the system is just over the top. Don't get me wrong XBOX 360 has some great quality games but the system certainly is not top quality. Sony and Nintendo make great consoles which are long lasting as my PS2 lasted about 5 years before that went and Nintendo most of theres last very long. As I said XBOX 360 is a great console but it has problems and if your warranty has ended then thats your XBOX done for. I still own mine but I might get rid of it after i am finished with GTA IV. One last thing I am definitely not a fanboy. 0 comments, Reply to this entry
Chicken...wuss?I eagerly awaited this title. Seriously, after the bliss injection of VII this was all I imagined. I had a wanker mate who told me this game was the story of Cid Highwind returning from his 2nd journey into space, along for the ride was the feisty and barrel breasted hottie, Tifa Lockeart. If you look carefully in the epilogue FMV of Red XIII and his cubs running toward the ruins of Midgar, you can see their spaceship crash land in da background!!! The world was no longer as it was, all their old friends were dead and the three of our lasting heroes had to salvage the world from the remnants of Meteor Monsters which plagued the dwindling population of the planet. I later found out that he was a compulsive liar. However, this story was a drastic improvement. Take a bit of teenage angst, ice cold manners, a medusa stare, a fantastic coat and marvelous weapon; now you have our hero. Squall Leonheart was a guy with problems but luckily he was chosen over the other ingrates to be the focus of this timeless classic. His individual view on the world which was literally being torn apart by war and the moon crying was a pragmatic and fresh look on the story. He won a place in my heart because even though he doesn’t give a monkeys about who/what people are, he ends up putting his very soul on the line to save them all from despair. His comrades were a colourful bunch but all lacking in distinctiveness. All human and half of which were annoying. From a fantasy story I expect differences in the people that follow the hero, physically and personally. I felt robbed that the characters weren’t overly lovable. Quistis was fit, Irvine was cool but they were all 2D to me. Squall was the only one who had some depth, without him the story would have suffered. His life of loneliness and abandonment was a tragic event which brought him to his knees before he could rise up as a new man in the wake of his destroyed self. The narrative is a bit up in the air. A lot of the time you are left to wander to find out where you have to go next. Without much restriction you can get lost quite easily which can be quite frustrating for a first playthrough. The concept of time plays a massive part in the story, flashbacks are common place aswell as distortion and parallels. Sometimes you just have to sit back and think. The battle system was quite taxing too. It limited your use of magic because it would bring down your statistics; also drawing magic from every monster/boss you faced was grueling. It brought me to my knees when I tried to get a full set because of how poor some characters were at drawing. Junction was a new system which couldn’t have worked with any other title. Unlocking GF abilities was also a plus when refining and bolstering your item supplies. However, with a massive lacking of weapon upgrades you would achieve the best weapons for characters early on if you had the right items. So even refining 99 screws would render them useless early on. However, the little things helped me rise again! Monsters being able to level up along with you provided an extra challenge. They would literally keep up with you as you progress so everywhere would be a hardy battle to get passed. The limits were essential throughout, without them you wouldn’t find the game simple. Squall’s Renzokuken plus finisher was enough of an endgame against any beast. Another glorious thing about this game was the locales throughout the world. Esther alone is one of the greatest cityscapes I have ever seen. It was essentially a City Continent which blitzed your visuals! Considering the history of the city, it easily falls under the Dystopian descript. Places like Fisherman’s Horizen and the Garden’s were indeed memorable but they couldn’t compete with a continent! Even though I see this as the weakest of the Playstation One generation, it is still galaxies more superior than the other games on this console. Final Fantasy VIII manages to mix sorcery and dystopia so well that it will make any grown man ball. Try it after FFVII. 0 comments, Reply to this entry
Nintendo Wii ConsoleI just bought a Wii less than 12 hours ago, after taking a bit of time to decide which console to buy. The Wii is the cheapest by far, and after a lot of reading (and thinking), I decided on this one, and thankfully managed to find one, since they are so hard for stores to keep in stock! Brought it home with a couple of games and tried it out, and it's great. Quite the workout when playing Wii Sports - definitely not a game you can play while sitting down, which is great, having that encouragement to get off my lazy butt! Looking forward to many long hours of game play, as well as the upcoming Wii Fit :) 0 comments, Reply to this entry
Mario & Sonic finally togetherMario & Sonic at the Olympic Games is the best Olympic game that is out there is pure fun all the way. The game features a whole load of events such as athletics, gymnastics, shooting, rowing, archery, aquatics, fencing, and table tennis also included the dream events. The dream events are nothing really to do with the Olympics and are fun. You can chose from all your favorite characters from the Mario and Sonic series also add your Mii into the action. I found a problem as my favorite game character Donkey Kong was not added and he is part of Mario. My favorite to play in what the game offers is Sonic, Shadow, Blaze, Wario and Browser. My favorite on the game is the skeet shooting and the aquatics events which have you in the pool. The game wears you out easy but you will want to keep playing because it does get very addictive. The only problem is that the Wii has some trouble on games such as the table tennis as i found it does not respond well to that game and a few others but it does not really matter as you will be busy enjoying the other games it has to offer. This features online connection but only to the leader board with records i am trying to really beat. Anyone looking for fun buy this game it is great to play as a single player and multiplayer. This is really worth the money a must have for anyone who owns the Wii. Finally Sega do a good job after a lot of there games lately of been bad this makes up for it. 0 comments, Reply to this entry
Should of been worked on moreRockstar Games Presents Table Tennis was a hit title for the XBOX 360 and what a great idea to use the Wii control system and brings this game on Wii. The graphics to the game are pretty good the Table Tennis players are very detailed which is important along with the courts they look good for the Wii. Well if you are left handed like myself you will have problems why Rockstar Games only made it for right handers it's beyond a joke. There is not just right handed people who want to play you know instead Rockstar Games are been biased. The worst part that i find annoying in this game is you swing to take your shot and about 8 - 10 seconds later it takes the shot but Wii Sports Tennis done it straight away i hate having to wait takes the good feeling of the game away. The music to the game is decent it's really dance music but it's reasonable to be on here. The game is a little easy just a shame on the controls and it only been right handed. This could of been a good game but seems as it was rushed what a shame and a waste after paying £29.99 for this well during October 2007 the price should of been lowed still. 0 comments, Reply to this entry
This could of been betterSuper Monkey Ball on the Wii is rather awkward you use your Wii remote to move around it gets tricky. The graphics are great better then what it was like in the Gamecube version. The Wii nunchuck should of been used in the main game it would of made it less confusing. With another add to this game there are boss stages this becomes annoying with bad camera angles which will cause you to fall over the edge. The mini games are boring and the stupid thing is you cannot pause the game while your playing or you can reset your Wii. Even if your bored of the game you can't leave unless you finish the mini game this is the same in the main mode. Banana Blitz though is still better then what Super Monkey Ball Adventure had to offer. The game is alright takes a while getting used to but if you want a good control system stick with the Gamecube version. Since buying this game I have only played it 2 times I wount play it again it's annoying me. 0 comments, Reply to this entry
My Favorite game on the VCWhen you look at other other game from the SNES and Mega Drive/Genesis era there is one for me that shines through any game and this is it Donkey Kong Country. The graphics of this game are brilliant for how long ago this was its amazing. Every bit of music in the game is fantastic thats another thing great about these games. Sonic The Hedgehog is a good game but not as good and addictive as Donkey Kong Country Series. The game lets you do so much like ride on rhinos, play as a dolphin and more. Alot of people should know this game it was developed by British company Rare was then known as Rareware. I did used to own the game back on the SNES but got rid of it I missed playing this classic. This game is 800 points on the Wii shopping channel buy this and Diddy's Kong Quest you wont be disappointed you will get your moneys worth out of them. 0 comments, Reply to this entry
I miss this gameThis game was great I still own the game just forgot where I put it. This game is fun I was ashamed to own it at first as me thinking it's a girls game it's not I like it who cares it's fun thats all that matters. I really found it hard but addictive it has to be one of my favorite games to come on the Sega Dreamcast. 0 comments, Reply to this entry
Fun game even if you hate TennisI was surprised at how good this game is very fun even if your not a fan of Tennis the game offers quite a bit of stuff to do. This was developed by Sumo Digital a company in Sheffield, England which the game was only published by Sega. The game has it's normal Tennis mode but also has special mini games based on Sega's games such as Space Harrier, Jet Set Radio, Space Channel 5, Sonic The Hedgehog, Chu Chu Rocket, House of the Dead, Super Monkey Ball, Virtua Cop Each of these special mini games have different things so let me explain them yeah and you can play as anyone in the game on the stages. Sonic The Hedgehog - This one sees you collecting rings and dodging balls with spikes. Virtua Cop - This one you use your racket and tennis ball to knock down the bad guys. House of the Dead - Use your racket and tennis ball to knock out the zombies. I don't need to go on more just this is a really good game which does look impressive for the DS. All i can say now is I wish this was out on PSP. 0 comments, Reply to this entry
Not impressed this is boringCooking Mama shes weird the game is all about cooking I don't see what is so good about this game if you want to cook so bad go into a real kitchen. The only good thing about the game is it's safe for kids. The game is boring nothing happens and I think its a pure waste. Cooking Mama really annoys me her voice gets on my nerves they did'nt even bother to dub it in English they just kept her voice in Japanese. As for the music it is very bad. Here is what you do in the game crack eggs open, make a pizza so much fun yeah right. This is the first time playing cooking mama makes me glad I never bought this on my Wii. What a waste of your life if you enjoy this so bad do real cooking or if you can't learn to cook. Good job i never bought the game just using emulators to try out DS games. 0 comments, Reply to this entry
