During his time in the WWE, Savage wrestled against other WWE legends in the 1980s, such as Junkyard Dog (Sylvester Ritter), 'Tito Santana', Bruno Sammartino, George 'The Animal' Steele, and his well-known feud of today, Hulk Hogan.
While in the WWE, Savage won the WWE Heavywieght Title two times, the Intercontinental once and was the 1989 King of the Ring. He then moved to World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and signed a $6 million contract with them. There he won the WCW Heavyweight Title four times,.
To fans, Savage is most notable for having an off and on screen relationship with Miss Elizabeth. Their relationship became the most remembered love relationship in WWE history. However, their relationship started to go down hill, and it began to show. They later divorced.
Today, Savage is now working for Total Non-Stop Action (TNA) Wrestling.

I did love him in WCW/NWO, but it was his performance against Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat in Wrestlemania III and in the championship tournament in Wrestlemania IV that puts Macho Man this high in the list.
