"In May 2004 Trent Reznor said, that he has been listening to Pere Ubu during the creation of the new album. In 2005 Pere Ubu's "Navy", "Final Solution" and "Non-Alignment Pact" were played before Nine Inch Nails concerts. That same year Trent Reznor played the song, when he was guest-hosting the "Radio One Rock Show" and said about it: "Next up is a band called Pere Ubu. I lived in Cleveland for a while and Pere Ubu were the local legends of there... like this important band that Talking Heads "
