Radio One jock and general dance music guru Dave Pearce is renowned for spinning only the finest in uplifting, euphoric dance anthems (as witnessed on his weekly Dance Anthems show), so it's only right really that he should be chosen to mix one of BMG's Euphoria compilations. For this double CD album, Pearce offers us some of the definitive trance and hard house tunes from the end of 2000, as well as some of the lesser known but still "'aving it" tracks. Among the more obvious selections are Zombie Nation's "Kernkraft 400", Darude's "Feel the Beat", Sasha and Emerson's "Scorchio", Sonique's "It Feels So Good", Fatboy Slim's "Bird Of Prey" and Storm's "Time To Burn". Nestled in amongst these monster club hits though are a multitude of lesser known but still rocking gems such as Black Spider's "Save Your Life", Phatt 8's "And Da Drum Machine", Vernon's Wonderland's "Vernon's Wonderland" and Xstasia's "Sweetness". An accomplished and essential selection of the some of 2000's best clubbing moments. --Paul Sullivan
