“Look, I don't have anything to big against the Fab Four, they're a fine band. Overrated as all holy hell, yes, but in the end so is everything. "Revolver", "Abbey Road", "The White Album"; all fucking classics, but Pepper just plain sucks.

My main problem is how it all feels like throwaway nonsense. "A Day in the Life" is classic, and how could you not love the whimsical "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds", but what else is there. "A Little Help From My Friends" is sort of catchy, but nothing else, the title track is just out of place, "She's Leaving Home" is a cheesefest, but a small one compared to "When I'm Sixty Four", and the rest is just pointless. "Within You Without You", "Lovely Rita", "For the Benefit of Mr Kite"; what the hell are these songs. Honestly, I will never unders” read more
