Best albums of 2002 (32 music items)

"Recorded to raise money for the appeals of the West Memphis 3, who were finally released from prison this year. Henry Rollins gathered as many of his favorite vocalists as he could to participate on recording covers of Black Flag songs, and the results are mostly great. Favorite song: "Six Pack" which is the sixth song below "

Best live shows I've seen (30 music items)

"Late 2002/Early 2003 This album was released to raise money to help the West Memphis Three (you can find out more here and here), and Rollins Band took to the road to play shows to raise more money. Each show was a full set of Black Flag songs, and ex-Black Flag member Keith Morris also joined them on tour. The show was amazing because they sounded great, everyone had a great time, & it's the closest I've ever come (and ever will) to seeing Black Flag, one of the best punk bands ever."
