ビートルズのデビュー作。アビーロードスタジオの吹き抜けで取られたジャケットの写真が印象的。Love me do や Please please me などの完成度高いオリジナル作も収録されている。

I think this is a *great* album. The songs are awesome and varied; the arrangement is great; it rocks.

I love the Beatles; I love the Early Beatles; I love it.

I guess it just feels good to say it.

And, also, as far as our whole music theory and methodology of commenting on the sacred writ, so to speak, I'd like to register one comment:

There is only one reason why Please Please Me is still popular today. That reason being, its a Beatles record. Not any Beatles record. But the first in what would be a revolutionary journey that changed music forever. But, I'm getting ahead of myself.
