Syd Barrett was floyds first guitarist and there is a very sad stiry behind him to. This is one of my favorite Pink Floyd albums(im not on acid though) and the Barrett days were the best. Syd was a very original mucisian. He did stuff like sliding paper on a guitar. He left the band on acount of a big acid problem. Because of acid he landed in a mental istitute for some time, got out quit acid, got fat, shaved his head, got diabetes, drank alot in pubs, and in 2006 died of pancriatic cancer. Syd rocks, he will not be forgoten. Because of Syd Barrett Pink Floyd would not be as famous as they r right now.
