By the time they recorded their lone 1977 album, Matlock had been bounced, replaced by the image-correct but utterly untalented (and ultimately group-dooming) Sid Vicious. Sex Pistols - Anarchy In The UK
I bought a radio to wake me up in the mornings, and the first song I woke up to was this. I was never a fan of the Sex Pistols, but this song is so brilliant. Rotten can't even sing, and they're all so young, but they absolutely destroy the UK in this song. It's pretty clichéd to say so, but the track is still relevant. The establishment still needs a massive slap around the face."

"Pop rock nonsense, not punk. Refer to Stiff Little Fingers's "Inflammable Material" or X-Ray Spex "Germfree Adolescents" for proper punk rock. It's enjoyable I suppose, but the fact that Rolling Stone-type critics view this as some sort of revolution is dumb. A revolution against what, good vocals"
