This musical is great the best show I have ever seen. I've seen this production four times and each time i've seen it the cast has been amazing and acted and sung the songs perfectly. The costumes are really beautiful and so are the sets that have been made for this show, they are based on african tribal traditions and wear rather than the animated film which gives the show it's own identity seperate from the film. The puppets used in the film along with the countless dancers make all the peices in the show awe-inspiring to watch. The songs from the film are translated really well and given new depth with the different sets of instruments used by the band and the vocals are less americanised and performed in a much more spirtual way than they were in the film.
