Every Day Is Exactly the Same - Nine Inch Nails

Most Nine Inch Nails fans are familiar with Trent Reznor's penchant for filling the lengthy gaps between his albums with numerous singles. Now, don't read that as some kind of lazy attempt at an insult; some of my favorite Nine Inch Nails releases are in fact singles. Unfortunately, I can't count Every Day is Exactly the Same among them. Why not? Of course your mileage may vary, but I just didn't consider the songs off of With Teeth a strong enough foundation upon which to build a tower of remixes. The enjoyable aspect of a successful single, for me at least, is in listening to some already excellent songs being ripped apart and put back together in interesting new ways, sometimes leading to something even greater than the source material itself.
