Electro-Shock Blues is my favorite Eels album and one of my favorite albums of all time. From start to finish it is great. Every time I go through a sad time I usually listen to this album or Radiohead's OK Computer, but that's a little obvious. Electro-Shock Blues starts off with the dark and sad "Elizabeth on the Bathroom Floor" written about E's sister's first failed suicide attempt. I think it might have even been written by E's sister and he used it, which makes the song that more creepier if you think about it. Either way, it is one of the highlights of the album and great introduction to an album that shows you won't be smiling much longer. Other highlights of this album are "Going to Your Funeral Part I", "Electro-Shock Blues", "Last Stop: This Town", "Climbing to the Moon"...Read more
