"I believe the Beastie Boys are the best hip-hop has to offer, band or solo artist. Now before anybody gets upset by that statement just know I'm not very fond of hip-hop. Beastie Boys are one of the few I like in the genre. As for Check Your Head its not as good as Licensed to Ill or Ill Communication but still a very solid album.
Favorite song on the album:
Stand Together

"Possibly my favorite Beastie Boys album. I don't get why of their first 4 major albums this is the only one that isn't on the "1001 albums to hear before you die" list.
Favorite song: "Gratitude"
