Thus the initial collection is laden with the group's trademark tunes, ranging from the California boys' first top 10 charter, 1962's "Surfin' Safari," to their last, 1988's "Kokomo," a stray, post-Brian Wilson success. "Kokomo" is by far the newest selection included here; nothing else dates past 1966's No. 1 smash, "Good Vibrations." "Fun Fun Fun"
Since my daughter was born, the only show I have been guaranteed to make it to each year is Fun Fun Fun Fest here in Austin. This week they announced their 2012 lineup, and OMG am I excited. I count almost 30 acts I want to watch, including Refused whom I've been hoping to see since their reunion was announced back in January. I thought about doing another of their songs here, but I figure this one makes more sense given the festival's name.
