Description: A Curious Feeling is the début solo album from keyboardist Tony Banks. Recorded at ABBA's Polar Music Studios during a brief Genesis hiatus, it was released in 1979 on Charisma Records and is one of only two of Banks' solo albums to have entered the UK album charts, reaching 21 and staying on the chart for five weeks. The album's concept was inspired by Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes. The cover design is by Hothouse, and the cover painting is Wuluwait - Boatman of the Dead by Australian artist Ainslie Roberts. ""Somebody Else's Dream" is such a fucking emotionally powerful track! I mean the entirety of 'A Curious Feeling' is powerful and moves me. Within the context of the albums story this track is where the main character begins to lose his mind and it's just filled with anger and sadness mixed together with fear of what lies ahead. I think what sticks out the most to me lyrically about this track is the line "Not for me to die with children around my bed...after a happy life." I first heard 'A Curio"
