A Curious Feeling is the debut solo album from Genesis keyboardist Tony Banks. It was released in 1979 on Charisma Records.

The album is based on the book Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes.

The instrumental piece "From the Undertow" was used in the 1978 British movie The Shout, for which Banks (along with Mike Rutherford) composed the incidental music. No soundtrack of the movie is available. It also has a melodic content and tone related to the song "Undertow" from ...And Then There Were Three... by Genesis.

Cover design is by Hothouse, and the cover painting is Wuluwait - Boatman of the Dead by Australian artist Ainslie Roberts.
