Among the dance numbers: "Here's To The Ladies" (Fred Astaire, Cyd Charisse, Lucille Ball with seductive chorus' girls) and "A Water Ballet" (Esther Williams' solo).

In the end it’s a bit of a bloated mess, going beyond peaks and valleys and winding up as something far more schizophrenic. Ziegfeld Follies is consistently entertaining, and when it’s good it’s great, but the rough patches are half-formed segments which exist seemingly to just showcase more of MGM’s large wealth of talent.
