Grand Assault

xXx marks the spot...for failure!

I watched this film again the other day and managed to count at least three stunts per second, it was just out of this world. The amount of money they must have poured into blowing things up is frightening. Vin Diesel is unconvincing both as a quick-thinking super agent and as an extreme sports enthusiast as he is clearly both unperceptive/unintelligent and too bulky to be either. His 'acting' doesn't make up or attempt to hide this fact. The plot is as dire as it comes. Generic super bad guy wants to destroy the major cities of the world and bring about a new world order from the ensuing chaos. Yawn. Vin and his array of gadgets and insane stunts have to stop him.
