Well, definetely, judging a movie by its cover isn't a good idea. Honestly at first, I just wanted to watch it because I love Zooey Deschanel . I thought it'd be totaly boring and stuff. But then I liked it. It's a bit quiet but the in way it should be when you know the story.

The return of prodigal daughter. Film about people with problems, dealing with the past in order to live happily.

Actress Reese Holden has been offered a small fortune by a book editor if she can secure for publication the love letters that her father, a reclusive novelist, wrote to her mother, who has since passed away. Returning to Michigan, Reese finds that an ex-grad student and a would-be musician have moved in with her father, who cares more about his new friends than he does about his own health and well-being.

"15/7 Very basic and low-key indie drama. The depressed characters, one big goofy comical one, the small town setting etc, was all familiar. Alright, but one those cases where you just know how there's hundreds others just like it. Will Ferrell was a weak link and they could have done way more with Ed Harris. I don't know if this is worth a mention but I can't help myself: Deschanel's character killed a cat by putting him/her in a bag and dropping it in the water, which was suppose to be a quiet"
