Neutral Notes:
*I was curious about this one mostly because I typically take Bryan Cranston seriously and I wanted to see how he did comedy.
*Mind you I have honestly never really watched Malcolm in the Middle.
*This type of humor would be vastly different as well.

*This type of humor would be vastly different as well.

*I chose to check this out because my wife's friend suggested it to her and she had been asking me about it several times.

*Otherwise I'm not sure when I would have watched it.

*The fact that this is written and directed by John Hamburg who wrote for Meet the Parents films makes complete sense.

*It's pretty much the same type of humor and the scenario is almost the same.

*This is the second film written by Ian Helfer.

"Watched 04/02/2017 Rating 5.0/10 Format: Blu Ray rarely do you laugh and so much happens within the first 1hr of the movie you think that could be the whole movie but theres still another 45mins that doesnt go anywhere and HOLY SHIT did they make the little brother an annoying douche. "

My Movie Diary 2017 (192 movies items)

" 5 April. Not the funniest Meet-the-Parents kind of comedy with Bryan Cranston as a self-made businessman meeting her daughter's self-made millionaire played by James Franco, but the presence of both actors make it watchable."

2016 Internet Movie Poster Awards (13 movies items)

" "Our pick for the funniest poster of the year. A good comedy poster doesn't have to be funny but it certainly helps a lot. It's also great if you can sell the concept of the film with a single image. This poster does it perfectly with a great shot of the three lead actors. The opposing expressions on the faces of James Franco and Bryan Cranston do more to tell us the plot of the movie than any tagline ever could.""

"7 / 10 - I had low expectations on this movie even though it has Bryan Cranston who I love to death but in the end it surprised me for better. The plot was basic, not bad but the fact that it got great actors as Bryan and James made the movie greater than it should've been. Also, the directing was pretty awesome and the dialogue was fine as well. I don't think the movie can go up more than a 6 but that's enough as I don't truly fancy comedy movies and I have to admit that this was a good one. I "

2016 Films Ranked (170 movies items)

"This movie is unapologetically crude and crass, but is also a lot funnier than it had any right to be, thanks mostly due to the winning combo of Bryan Cranston and James Franco. 7.0/10"
