"I think that this even might surpass the cult movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Murray´s Thompson has more depth, but we also have to remember that Gilliam´s version is so mental with the lizards and all.

I really enjoyed this movie. I thought that Bill Murray was very convincing as Hunter S. Thompson. Peter Boyle also did a good job playing his character. It's too bad this movie isn't well known as the other Hunter S. Thompson adaptations. It does not deserve to be overlooked."
