Hollywood Blockbusters like this are main reason why I find myself looking more for independent releases. This movie had so much potential because it had an excellent book to back it as well as Spielberg, but two things ruined it: Tom Cruise, and major plot holes.

As a big fan of both the original book and even the musical score, I found myself highly disappointed by this film.
