Beforehand, I thought it would be quite awfull but, honestly, I thought it was rather watchable eventually. Of course, the whole thing was completely preposterous and doesn't make much sense whatsoever but if you shut off your mind, it is actually rather entertaining. Before you judge me for rewatching this, it's not that bad! Having said that, the only reason I watched this was because it randomly fell off my shelf on to my desk ;P (It was pretty creepy but I wasn't bothered by ghosts again that day).
Like I said the film isn't really that bad but there are some seriously cringy cheesy moments, mainly thanks to the little kid. Plus Tommy Lee Jones is in it and he's awesome! I prefer him in his crazier or more badass roles but he was stil"

It does help when you have some terrific actors such as Tommy Lee Jones and Don Cheadle who try to keep a straight face during the whole thing and try really hard to make you believe that everything going on your screen is actually happening and could actually happen in real life. Still, it is nothing amazing though. I mean, it is actually a terrific idea to make a movie about a bursting volcano and with the financial and technical means they have, they could make a terrific movie, at the same time realistic and entertaining.” read more
