My second Miike film, my second disappointment. This film follows a family that is so dysfunctional that they need a new word to be invented, just to make it clear that they are a whole different league to the kind of family you get in a Wes Anderson film.

A director famed for being a weird sicko, there is no premise to this film, there's barely any talking, the opening scene involves a deadbeat documentary maker visiting a brothel and willingly having sex with his daughter and the film pretty much ends with him having sex with a corpse...until she gets rigor mortis and he gets stuck.

Still, there is plenty of black humour to get you through the proceedings. The plot is nothing like the description on the back of the Region 2 DVD case though.
