Craziest movie ever

Let me start by saying that this is the craziest action movie I have ever seen. I don't mean crazy in the sense it has crazy action scenes (it has), or crazy characters (it has..) or a crazy story (it does have...), I mean crazy on the freaking whole, the whole movie is crazy and has a crazy concept, and that is what made it interesting and entertaining to me.

So basically a group o... read more

What could be better than watching a Japanese zombie movie where they have sword and gun fights in the woods. It's directed by Ryuhei Kitamura who also directed Midnight Meat Train and No One Lives. The guy is crazy with what he comes up with. The co-writer Yûdai Yamaguchi also did a film in ABC's of Death which I didn't like. Anyways let's see how this goes.

These feels slightly in... read more

The one thing that is obvious from watching this film is that the cast and crew had a really enjoyable time making it. Some of that cheerfulness does rub off on you as you watch it too. What starts off as the usual kidnapping fair quickly evolves into a paranormal zombie flick. Cue the yakuza cleaving their way through the undead and you've pretty much summed up the plot.

It's tinge... read more

Tak Sakaguchi is Prisoner KSC2-303, a criminal who has just escaped from a maximum-security prison. After he heads to the Forest of Resurrection to rendezvous with some gangsters, KSC2-303's escape plan veers off course when an argument with one of the gangsters leads to death. Worse still, KSC2-303 finds out the hard way that when you kill something in the Forest of Resurrection, it doesn't stay dead!

Miika's Movie Diary - 2018 (154 movies items)

These feels slightly inspired by The Matrix and Highlander with the addition of zombies/demons. It's wheels of crazy and silly as you would of course expect from a Japanese film. Some of the jokes are pretty funny too. It is more of an action sci-fi film with horror elements thrown in. The action is of course badass with some crazy bloody death scenes. The score is excellent. The writing is a little bit inconsistent in pla” read more
