Peter O'Toole is a monument and the fact that he hasn't won any acting academy awards is a proof how much those guys are really out of touch. I have to admit it must have been really difficult to choose between Forest Withaker in 'The Last King of Scotland' and O'Toole in this movie. “Peter O'Toole is a monument and the fact that he hasn't won any acting academy awards is a proof how much those guys are really out of touch. I have to admit it must have been really difficult to choose between Forest Withaker in 'The Last King of Scotland' and O'Toole in this movie. Anyway, he was just amazing and especially the first 20 minutes were just hilarious. Of course, the movie is about him meeting a very young girl and for the rest of the movie, there is this debate if you should think he is an old dirty pervert or just an old guy who should be entitled to have one last glimpse of female beauty. Honestly, even though it was rather interesting, I think it wasn't as interesting as O'Toole's fascinating character and his amazing performance. I understand that they wanted to spice u” read more
