Movies I Saw For the First Time in 2013 (53 movies items)

"In director Judd Apatow's fourth film, he revisits his surrogate family from Knocked Up to watch them deal with turning 40. The result is just an OK film. It certainly isn't bad. I enjoyed watching these characters. I found myself laughing hard at points. This film's real problem is that there really isn't a cohesive plot. What there is is a run-time of over two two hours and not really a lot connecting it from scene to scene aside from a few story points and the general ideas of family and grow"

"9.2.2013. For the first time/Online I'm glad that in the end I decided not to watch this movie in cinema.. Average (romantic) comedy with just hint of romance, but also a humor.. Best scenes or sentences were those starring Iris Apatow, the younger daughter of the main characters.. Has ups and downs, movie with a few scenes that could have been left out.. In relation to them, the end came "suddenly".."

"This was just average and this is coming from someone who likes Judd Apatow's movies including Funny People which I thought was a better attempt at a dramedy than this. Most of the comedy in this movie is just mildly amusing and the drama wasn't that good. It seems like I can only stand Paul Rudd in small doses because when a movie focuses on his character then I just start to like him less.
