6 votes I should start this review by telling you that I have a strong dislike towards Terms of Endearment. I consider it to be one of the worst films to earn the Best Picture Oscar. It's been several years since I last saw it, but "shrill, forced and manipulative" comes to mind when I try to remember my impression of it.
