That Movie Had No Right To Be That Good... (9 movies items)" Why Should It Have Been Crap? First of all, there's the law of diminishing returns. And then there's the fact that it was planned as a direct-to-DVD/Blu-ray movie. And it was tagged as UniSol 3 despite there already having been three UniSol movies. More importantly, there hasn't been a worthwhile UniSol movie since the first one. It would seem a turkey was imminent. Against all odds, though, this is one great, badass action flick that's as good as the original which spawned it."

Movies i have seen in 2010. (417 movies items)" This is the second time i have seen this film and i liked it a lot more now that i knew how the film was. It's nothing like the first film (and far from as good as it), but it's still better than the second one and had some great action scenes. The Van Damme vs Dolph could have been a little better and longer."

For all you action fans, the wait is finally over. At long last, Jean-Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren have re-teamed for Universal Soldier: Regeneration; yet another sequel to their 1992 hit. With so many Universal Soldier flicks floating around, it can be confusing if one attempts to get a handle on where all the various entries fit into the overall series. Just to be clear, Regeneration is a direct sequel to the original movie - it disregards the two direct-to-DVD follow-ups that came before it, as well as the 1999 theatrical sequel Universal Soldier: The Return. (579 movies items)"14.01.2010 (January 14th, 2010) First, I've got to say that I'm not big fan of Universal Soldier or Universal Soldiers: The Return, but I would say that Regeneration was better than both of them. Not because of the action or anyting like that, but becasue the action sequences was done in an better way an was better in the general meaning... The story lacks, but the fight choreography and cinematography is all there, and very good. There are some epic duels in this one. Recommended to anyone into a nice action flick. 6.5/10 "

“I felt like I was watching stupid Russian movie. There was a lot of Russian dialogs with english subtitles witch I hate. Everything about this movie was lame and cheesy. Even though I like Van Damme I couldn’t stand this movie. You can’t even compare this Crap to the original Universal Soldier (1992).

“Freedom fighter/terrorists take the Russian president's two kids hostage and also threaten a nuclear disaster (they're holed up in Chernobyl). The ace in their hole is a NGU (Next Generation Universal Soldier) controled by a mercenary rogue scientist. The NGU is damn near an OMAC (One Man Army Corp). Russia/US respond by pulling the first generation Universal Soldiers out of deep freeze.
It's a franchise reboot. John Hyams is Peter Hyams (TIME COP) son. Peter was the director of photography (according to John) or cinematographer (according to IMDB) and the movie looks great. They mostly shot at Sophia, Bulgaria, at an abaondened steel factory which doubles for Chernobyl. John Hyams choreographed the fights which are plentiful and brutal, particularly one rematch.
