Another classic 90's macho match-up. I don't know why they stick 18 certificates on these films, I watched it as a nipper and I only have happy memories! Two cybernetically enhanced soldiers become enemies after serving in an elite combat unit.

Van Damme is obviously the good guy, while Dolph Lundgren plays the remorse and moral deficient killer hell bent on displaying his pure dominance. The final scene is an epic showdown between a beaten down JCVD and a psyched up junkie Dolph and even includes classic injection power up scenes that I just love in cinema (see Ong Bak)! All this in an intense rainstorm, doesn't get much better than that. Especially if you're unlucky enough to see the sequels.
