Unforgiven could be the greatest western film in the history of cinema. Clint Eastwood proves an able director for this stunning film, and shows that he has learnt much from starring in spaghetti westerns by Sergio Leone.

The Unforgiven is the best western by a man who knows better than anyone allon.Edo heroes shoot from behind and victimized by their dark past.
Lots of references to previous films Eastwood (the fans we look very carefully, there are many) .. The last scene in the bar is now classic.

"First viewing - April 30th Movie Exchange Program A stellar western with a lot on its mind. Clearly Eastwood is looking deeply at his career and the films that made him a star, which results in a very personal movie but not one that's impossible to enjoy. The cast is amazing, the characters well developed, and I was captivated by the story from start to finish. It fell just short of earning a perfect score from me, but I could see it earning one from others."
