I really enjoyed this film, great cast and a chance to relive history. I really enjoyed the battle scenes, very realistic.

Too-old and unconvincing to star as a soldier in an epic movie actor Brian Cox appears in yet another epic movie in his usual rent-a-general role. Aside from his inclusion, the rest of the film is pretty spectacular, despite the luke warm reception it got from cinema goers. One of the most endearing scenes for me was the one on one battle between Achilles and Hector outside the gates of Troy. It was an extremely well choreographed fight and I'm a big fan of both actors involved. Achilles was totally ruthless, you feel extremely sorry for Hector, considering his brother is such a cowardly moron. The final scene, seeing the Trojan horse and all that it entails is quite poignant. I absolutely LOVE this movie! Its been a while since ive seen it, but i can remember that its amazing. Definetly in my favourite movies list! A bit of blood and gore in parts, but i used to love those kind of movies, Another great reason for me to love this movie and for you to see it - amazing acting and actors in this movie! This movie really got me into Brad Pitt, and Eric Bana just made it even better! Another great movie with Orlando Bloom - there's no stopping this guy!

Its an easy 10/10!
