"Alfred Hitchcock, best known for his suspenseful thrillers, tries his hand at a dark comedy in The Trouble with Harry. Like much British comedy, the humor here is very dry, though sometimes it is greatly effective. My major problem was with its pacing; the entire first half moves at a slug's pace, and felt more like a stretched out comedic skit than a well-thought-out film. It does become more interesting by the final third, and is, overall, a decent effort. "
