An average movie

For many years, Colin Farrell seemed to be on the verge of becoming the next best thing but he never really managed to fulfill these promises. Indeed, except for a few real gems, like ‘In Bruges’, his career has been basically filled with under-performing blockbusters or some rather underwhelming obscure flicks. Well, this movie definitely belongs to the second group. I mean, the subject was r... read more

Movie Reviews (501-550) (50 movies items)

" An interesting real-life conflict is the base of the story. Colin Farrell have a realistic portrayal of a war photographer with post-traumatic stress. Christopher Lee has one of his biggest roles for the last twenty years with a lot of good dialogue and is the movie's lightest character. It is a graphic, grimm and disturbing production of what war do to people. The revelation of what caused the post traumatic stress is unfortunately obvious from the beginning. "

Moviewatcher122's 2016 Film Diary: March (43 movies items)

"March 2 "Do you think you can help him?" "Yes. Of course I can help him. I can help anyone." This was a decent war drama, but it is far from perfect. While it does have some good performances mainly from Colin Farrell and Christopher Lee (Who I had no idea was in this movie.) and it does have a decent script and this movie is effective with what it's trying to do, but at the same time it could've been better. One of the problems with this movie is that it feels too short with it's 99 minute "
