Easily one of Paul Verhoeven's finest films and definitely one of my favourite Arnie classics. This film made a lasting impression on me when I first saw it as a youngster. I watched it again at university and loved it. This is good old fashioned entertainment. It's gory and ultra violent with some extremely...interesting special effects. Apparently there were lots of arguments during filming but in the end the final product is a masterpiece. It's not one of the greatest films of all time, but it should certainly be one to see before you die. The film runs smoothly until suddenly Arnie is thrust into the action and it's a non-stop adrenaline rush from there out.
