In the first 5 minutes or so you get to find out why this kid is playing with dolls heads. It's understandable, if I had parents like that I'd play with dolls heads too.

actually there is something very special and different about this movie.On momment; it's a little bit slow but all in all it leaves a strange feeling after watching it and that is the most important thing.Its not simple and it has some Alice in Wonderland momments.Anyway its very weird in a beautiful way.

Gilliam's pretentious disclaimer (just let the work speak for itself) at the start of the DVD feature began what would be a very tedious two hours. His intro leads us to believe that this is an intensely personal work that aims to discover his inner-child. Fine. " Cast : Jodelle Ferland, Jennifer Tilly, Jeff Bridges What was it about? Because of the actions of her irresponsible parents, a young girl is left alone on a decrepit country estate and survives inside her fantastic imagination. My two cents: I thought it was rather bleak and creepy... I mean, I have seen some tough sh*t but this one is pretty hardcore. I can't say I didn't like this movie though because the actors were really good and Gilliam is a damned good director and it sho"
