Let no one pray for me.

''Like a leper rotting in flesh let all avoid me. Like a cripple without limbs let me not move freely. Remove my cheeks, that tears may not move down them. Crush my lips and tongue, that I may not sin with them. Pull out my nails, that I may grasp at nothing. Let my shoulders and back be bent, that I may carry nothing. Like a man with a tumour in the head, let me lack judgment. Ravage my ... read more

This film I feel is breathing life back into the whole 'vampire' genre since it's horrible downgrade thanks to Twilight. I honestly was like 'Oh, another vampire film, I wonder if I'll give it more than 4 stars.'. Boy was I wrong. This film was awesome.

To start off the first few scenes really pull you in. A priest who is willingly giving himself for science? Sweet. After the first... read more

From the acclaimed director of the global hit Old Boy comes a shockingly original vampire story with a chilling, erotic style. A blood transfusion saves the life of a priest, but also transforms him into a vampire. He struggles to control his insatiable thirst for blood until a love affair unleashes his darkest desires in deadly new ways. Thirst is a truly wicked love story that takes classic vampire lore to twisted new heights.

"Re-watch - Dec. 22nd The last time I watched Thirst was in the theatre, and in fact my copy hadn't been opened yet (which I usually do shortly after bringing a movie into my home). It's still a great film that mixes genre elements with a love story to deliver a fresh & rewarding experience. I love the contrast between our central characters, and Park earns some solid laughs along the way from the situations that arise. As usual the visual elements are especially strong too, and while the story "
