A woman abandons her life, her loved ones, and comes to live in Africa with the Massai she met and fell in love with, during a trip. She questions her life and her choices.

The movie is slow, too slow for what it could be. The actors are all right.

Unfortunately the movie goes nowhere.

"Vaikka tositapahtumiin perustuukin, tuntuu Hermine Huntgeburthin Valkoinen masai kovin kiillotetulta totuudelta. Tuskinpa uljaat soturimiehet antaisivat kuitenkaan vuohesta seuraavan, naisen, pomppia silmilleen tähän malliin. Kyllä elokuvan silti mielellään loppuun katsoo, jos ei muuten, niin vähintään mukavien savannien ällistelemisen ja kiinnostavan käsiksen seuraamisen puolesta ainakin. Kultturelleillä vastakohdilla leikittelykin on toimivaa ja mieleen nouseekin jo leffan alkupuoli"
